History
For
decades, salad lovers around the world have
enjoyed the appealing flavour of Thousand Island
Dressing. While there may be some debate about
exactly who invented the Thousand Island Dressing,
there is certainly no debate about its geographic
origin. It is the Thousand Islands of the St.
Lawrence River and we are proud to offer just
a few local samples of our many delectable entrée

Thousand
Island Dressing

Cup of Mayonnaise
3
Tablespoon of Chilli Sauce
1
Teaspoon of Chives, chopped
1
Teaspoon of Green Pepper, chopped
1
Teaspoon of Dill Pickle, chopped
Salt
and Pepper to Taste. Mix ingredients and chill.
Serves 4 |

Directions
Combine all ingredients except the Chili sauce
and the chopped dill pickle. Just before service,
swirl in the chili sauce. This represents a
1000 Island sunset, and then sprinkle the chopped
dill pickle on top. Each piece of pickle represents
one of the 1000 Islands. |
