Kingston, Ontario - St. Lawrence Cruise Lines Inc. of Kingston, Ontario, Canada offers cruises spanning over three nights amongst the Thousand Island area aboard the motor vessel Canadian Empress. This 66 passenger vessel transits the narrow and secluded channels of the islands unveiling the breath-taking beauty the islands hold. These intimate visits also expose the charm and architecture of both the tiny and the massive summer homes that adorn most of the islands.

Following the 1st night on the river, (anchored amongst the Thousand Islands and under a million stars) the first visit is to the Heritage Centre of the 1000 Island. This visit describes the historical and geographic origins of the surrounding archipelago in a clearly presented fashion.

Another highlight of this cruise is a visit to a 350 foot high observation tower for a panoramic view of the islands.

Each evening features special entertainment ranging from comedic to big band sounds & dancing. A daily enjoyable experience is the menu which features a bill of fare based on the food traditionally common to the river area. Unique items like pan fried walleye (a fish common to the area) and Thousand Island Dressing make dining aboard exciting.
