This morning after breakfast horse drawn wagons will be waiting to take you to Upper Canada Village. Upon return the ship will depart bound for your overnight berth in Coteau Landing, Quebec. Today's sail will take us through both American locks Snell and Eisenhower. |

As
we approach our berth in Old Montreal, we'll
pass by "Man and His World", site of the World's
Fair in 1967. You'll recognize Buckminster Fuller's
geodesic dome, and many of you will recognize
"The Big O" (Olympic Stadium) home of Montreal's
many sporting and recreational events (originally
constructed for the 1976 Olympics). |

6:
After lunch we'll arrive at Trois Rivieres where
we will board a motorcoach for a brief tour
of this historic city bound for a guided tour
of Notre-Dame-du-Cap shrine. The Cape is a
place of pilgrimage and devotion to Our Lady
of the Cape (Canada's national shrine dedicated
to the Virgin Mary). |

As we get closer to Quebec City the bluffs along
the shore become higher and higher culminating
at the Plains of Abraham, site of the famous
battle for Quebec between the French and the
British. Imagine having to climb those cliffs.
That was the task that faced the British soldiers
